3. Click "Create group" which is located next to the Welcome Back text.
4. Determine how many group members you would like in your party. You can have between 1-6 members in your group.
5. Enter the student IDs of EVERY GROUP MEMBER. Unlike the previous two years, all ID numbers MUST BE ENTERED AT THE SAME TIME. For example, if you want to be in a group with Matt, Eric, and Jon, you must gather the ID numbers of Matt, Eric, and Jon and enter them at the same time.

7. Registration opens at 12:01pm Monday morning (one hour from now). Please do NOT register before this time! Registration closes at 11:59pm Wednesday night. You absolutely MUST register within this time frame. Regardless of how many Spirit Points you have, if you do not register in this time frame, you may not get tickets.

Friday, November 7, 2008 Second Voucher Distribution, Athletic Practice Facility, 5-7pm
- If you need to purchase yellow vouchers OR if you want to refund your yellow vouchers, here is the time and place to do so. - Yellow vouchers cost $30 and include the new Red Scare shirt. - Refunds will be paid in cash, and you can keep the Red Scare shirt.
- IF YOU PAID FOR VOUCHERS BUT DID NOT RECEIVE YOUR SHIRT, you can pick it up here. Please bring your unmarked set of yellow vouchers, and we will mark your name off of the list.
- ***IF YOU ARE RETURNING YELLOW VOUCHERS that were purchased in a group, you MUST bring ALL of the yellow vouchers with you, regardless of how many you are returning. Each set of yellow vouchers has a unique number on it that tracks the vouchers for accounting purposes. The Athletic Department needs to ensure you return the vouchers that were purchased in your name. For example, if my friend purchased vouchers for me and one other buddy, I would need to bring all three sets of yellow vouchers so the Athletic Department student workers can match my set of vouchers to my number.
Volleyball vs. XAVIER, Frericks, 7:00pm, 50 Spirit Points (!) -Get pumped for an awesome volleyball game against our rival!!!
Saturday, November 8, 2008 Volleyball vs. Wright State University, Frericks, 7:00pm, 10 Spirit Points -A fierce volleyball match against our cross-town rival
Saturday, Men’s soccer vs. Xavier, Xavier University, 7:00pm, 10 Spirit Points*
-*This is an AWAY game, being played approximately 40 miles away in Cincinnati at Xavier University. Here are the reasons we decided to award Spirit Points to this game:
A. In order to attend this game, a Red Scare member must sacrifice going to the volleyball game against WSU. Chances are that if these students are not going to Xavier, they are going to the volleyball game and receiving the 10 points anyways. B. Our men’s team has had a phenomenal season, and their A-10 regular season championship is on the line with this game. It is essential that they have our support. C. It is a rivalry game against Xavier.
- Red Scare recognizes that many of you are unable to drive to Xavier, and there will NOT be an official Red Scare bus; however, there is a carpool board on the Red Scare forum for students to find/give rides. http://www.udaytonredscare.com/show_topic.php?t_id=59

Clarifications and Events - Tue Oct 28th, 2008 |
|
|
|
- At this moment, students are unable to individually check how many Spirit Points they currently have. You should, however, have a rough idea of how many you have. The Spirit Point website is undergoing some changes, and it is scheduled to go live this Friday. Thank you for your patience. - This Spirit Point graphical distribution WILL change over the next two weekends due to more available Spirit Points; however, this gives you a basic idea of where you stand TODAY. - Unless you register for tickets by yourself, it is your GROUP’S average of Spirit Points that matters. When looking at the chart, take into consideration how many Spirit Points your friends have too. - This graph is NOT absolute. There are a plethora of variables that affect who actually receives tickets on a distribution day. Again, this chart is strictly for you and your group to get an idea of where you stand TODAY for basketball tickets. - Reminder: if you do not currently have yellow vouchers, you can purchase them on Friday, November 7 from 5-7pm in the APF and receive the Red Scare shirt. You can also return your vouchers at this time. - Again, I want to reiterate the importance of Spirit Points. EVERY POINT MATTERS. As you can see from the graph, a few extra points can determine whether or not you attend a men’s basketball game. That being said, there are TWO 50 point events in the next two weeks. If you want to improve your chances of attending a men’s basketball games or to ensure you keep your seats, I would strongly recommend to attend the upcoming sporting events.
Weekend Events: Friday, October 31, 7:30pm, Women’s Soccer 50 Points!!! FREE PIZZA, FREE SHIRTS, FREE CANDY, ONE FREE DAYTON 2 DAYTONA TRIP! There are going to be plenty of TREATS (candy, pizza, free D2D trip, shirts, 50 points) at this Halloween evening game. Any student who is wearing their Halloween costume or Red Scare shirt or Halloween costume with Red Scare Shirt is eligible to win the free Dayton 2 Daytona trip. What makes the game even more exciting is that Fordham knocked the women’s team out of A-10 play last year, so we need to deliver some payback. Sunday, November 2, 1:00pm, Women’s Soccer 10 Points Come celebrate the women’s soccer final home game this season. |
